The internet is thriving and more and more people are turning to the internet to make a living because of the recent economic downturn. The problem for them is where to begin because of the vast amount of opportunities out there to choose from. Will they choose the right one or won't they? The only way to find out is dip your toe in and test the water. However, my best advice is to start off with something that is not going to break your wallet first, then move on to other areas of interest. There are lots of fantastic opportunities to choose from as well as there are lots of dodgy ones, so you'll have to keep your wits about you. The most important thing is not to be afraid to dip your toe in the water. Fear is a big factor when it comes to setting up an online business, any business for a matter of fact. Some people are afraid that they might lose their money or they might not succeed. If this is you, you have two options, you can either find a way to get rid of your fear or find a job where you work for someone else and get a regular income. It sound harsh but that is a fact. Another mistake people make (and this is a big one) when they first come online, they all think there's a golden egg out there and they are going to make loads of money straight away. They see all this get rich quick schemes and they just dive in feet first without doing their research, then a few months down the line the penny drops and they realised they've been had. Well don't worry, you're not the only one, we've all been there me included. Make Money Online: Areas of opportunities Online you have various areas of opportunities you can choose from; some are fast money earners and some are long term opportunities, the choice is yours at the end of the day, but first you must decide what you are really looking for, "fast cash or long term stability". You can choose to become an affiliate marketer selling other people's products and make your living that way, which in fact is a fantastic way. Many affiliate marketers are making a killing selling other people's product through the likes of Clickbank. The only downside to this is, for you to make the kind of money the top earners are making you will need to have a massive list of subscribers you can sell to. Some of these marketers spend years building their list. Something you may want to think about. With saying that, there are systems out there that can aid you in your affiliate marketing, where you can use other affiliates to help you make money, without the need to find a massive list. Some are costly but there are some good ones out there that are free with an affordable upgrade. This could be a good starting point. Make Money Online With Multilevel Marketing MLM (another common phrase used for multilevel marketing) is the most common business opportunities online today. It's been around online and offline for as long as I can remember and beyond. AmWay is one of the big names that many people can remember and it is still one of the biggest MLM business opportunities out there today. I'm not a favourite of MLM, simply because the top guys get all the cream and the little guys struggle to get there. When you join an MLM program you tend to focus on getting as many members as possible to fill your first line, however, the guys below you could be struggling to get their people below them and it goes on. There are lots of millionaires in the MLM industry so it does work, but it's the guys at the bottom who are propping up their funds whilst struggling to make ends meet. The Matrix System Now this one I like. The matrix system is similar to MLM with a big difference. In a matrix everyone helps everyone and everyone is at the top of their tree. What this means is; if a matrix is a 3 x 9 or 2 x 10 your first line below can only have 3 or 2 members in it, no matter how many you bring in. Once your first row (as it is known) is filled the only other place your future members can go is down, which means you are helping your members below you to build their team and in the meantime building your team also. MLM's and Matrices are long term opportunities, what I mean there is; they can take anywhere from 2 years to 8 years to build but once they are established you know you've got a business for life, providing the program is still running. It doesn't mean you won't be earning any money till then, it just means it can take a long time to fill your entire matrix level or MLM level.
